History:
Bihar is the fascinating land of great religious leaders
like Gautama Buddha, Lord Mahavir and Guru Gobind Singh.
The
present name of the state of Bihar owes its origin to
the "Viharas" built by Lord Buddha who attained
spiritual enlightenment on this land and preached love,
peace and tolerance. The erstwhile capital city of Patliputra
of Emperor Ashoka is the present day state capital Patna.

Day 2 : Delhi/Lucknow/Balrampur
Morning : transfer to the airport to board flight for Lucknow.
Arrive Lucknow and drive to Balrampur, enroute
visit Sravasti site of the Great Miracle performed
by Buddha. Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Balrampur/Lumbini/Gorakhpur
Morning : drive for Lumbini, Arrive Lumbini and cover
city tour of Ashoka Stupa, Ruins of Lumbini &
the Birth Place of LORD BUDDHA. Afternoon
Drive for Gorakhpur. Arrive and check into the

Day 4 : Gorakhpur/Varanasi
Morning drive for Varanasi enroute sight-seeing of Sarnath

Day 5 : Varanasi/Bodhgaya
Early morning : excursion on the Holy River Ganges by boat

followed the city tour of Varanasi. Afternoon

Day 6 : Bodhgaya-Nalanda-Rajgir
Morning : proceed for the sight-seeing of Bodhgaya covering
Madhbodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Tibetian Monastery
and then drive for Rajgir enroute Nalanda.
Sight-seeing of Nalanda to view the Great Stupa

Day 7 : Rajgir-Patna
